A Night to Remember

Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed my past two proms, but this one was hands down the best prom ever! This was the first year I got my hair done at a salon, which was a very fun experience and the first year I went with a group of amazing people.

I purchased my dress at BCBG, when my mom and I went to the mall to get some things for herself and I mentioned prom and that we should go check BCBG. When we walked in the store all of their dresses were half off, with a end-of-clearance sale! I got my dress for $45.00, my heels were from last year, and I wore pearl earrings to tie everything together.

I was pleased with how my hair turned out, although it fell apart not even half way through the night. My hairdresser put some chic white flowers in my hair, which I believe tied everything together.

In preparation for this wonderful night, we made reservations at a cute, local restaurant that offered prom specials. We got all of our parents together to take photos of us at this gorgeous golf course before heading to dinner. And we ordered our corsages and picked them up on our way to take pictures.

Over dinner we talked, joked around, and ate good food, and then we made our way to prom.

Our entire group got jiggy with it on the dance floor, even though the dance floor was 110 degrees and way too small! After crowning prom court, we left prom to go to our own little party!

All of us changed out of our prom attire and broke out our dancing shoes! We threw on some country music and danced. We all made it home safe around 2:30am.

We all had a tremendous amount of fun and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share Prom 2016 with!

Live Simply,

Lea Hart
